Perched regally atop the rolling hills of Maryland’s pristine My Lady’s Manor horse country, The Manor House at Harford Hill offers a respite for guests during their stay. Built in 1929, as the grand vision of S. Bryce Wing, horseman & former President of the National Steeplechase Association, the stately Georgian Manor House and surrounding grounds have captured the imagination of national and international political and cultural figures for nearly a century.

Today, that legacy of hospitality continues with the option to include overnight accommodations with your special event. Our Manor House and Guest Cottage sleep up to 24 guests and offers a seamless transition from the evening’s festivities to a quiet morning overlooking the pastures.

Serving as a refined home base during your event, overnight stays at Harford Hill ensures your time with us is as restorative as it is memorable. Impeccable landscaping complements the stately brick exterior of the Manor House, while inside, soaring ceilings, arched doorways, and hand-carved details offer a glimpse into the home’s historic past. Renowned designer Steven Gambrel, principal of SRG Interiors, breathed new life into the home through dark, rich floors, waxy raw woods, and heavy, hand-woven Belgian textiles, elevating each room while adding texture and warmth. Layered with antiques from around the world, used in a sparse and understated way, the overall palette and spirit stays light-filled, modern, and impactful.

The 250 acres surrounding the private estate only enhance the experience. Each window is perfectly positioned to frame a scenic view, while expansive terraces overlook the pool and the undulating green pastures beyond. Guests are invited to linger outdoors and take in the panoramic, tranquil vistas of a landscape that has remained largely untouched for generations.

Harford Hill hosts a limited number of private events each year and guests are able to include one or both homes into their event package with daily housekeeping and an onsite host/concierge available throughout your stay.
